CARD Program

The academic curriculum in schools and colleges aim to primarily focus on the three R’s with an objective of academic excellence and preparing students for a suitable career path. Often, in such endeavor, the Comprehensive Development of the child enabling him/her to face the fast changing and competitive world of today remains deficient. Many times an academically bright student fails to measure up due to low confidence and restrictive cognitive behavior which is sought for by prospective employers, including the government, private sector and also employers outside the country.

Deficiencies are broadly found in the following areas –

a. Communication Skills & Power of Expression
b. Effective Intelligence and Reasoning Ability
c. Sense of Responsibility & Self Confidence
d. Social Adaptability & Group Behaviour
e. Determination
f. Stamina

Hence, it is apparent that though a child/student may have a very high basic intelligence, the present competitive world requires preparation and guidance beyond the academic environment to which one is subjected to. We’ve seen, students with fairly good academic record often fail to make a mark due to lack of skills that are paramount in the long journey of ones’ career such as communication, awareness about the world around, social skills, ability to think ‘out of the box’, low emotional quotient to mention a
few.

Our Comprehensive All Round Development (CARD) program aims to plug these shortcomings and impart certain skills in students that will help them to face the world with confidence.
